Corning redefining their Gorilla Glasses

The feeling of breaking the phone's screen by dropping is too common. Now the feeling is not much painfull because Corning's top scientists performed thousands of hours of tests to understand how and why glass breaks when dropped. They reached a way to  deliver dramatically improved performance against drops on rough surfaces.

Gorilla Glass is the registered trademark of a specialized toughend glass developed and manufactured by CORNING, now in its fourth generation, designed to be thin, light and damage-resistant.Gorilla® Glass 4 ( fourth generation) is made by redefining the standard in Damage Resistance.

FEATURES:

• Gorilla Glass 4 provides two times improved damage resistance 
• It also provide  improved mechanical durability of the glass to in-field damage events, such as drops.
